Stores Operative / Administrator
Are you an experienced Stores Person? Do you have a good knowledge of documentation / administration? If so a world leader in the manufacture of aerospace components are looking to speak to you.
THE SALARY/RATE/PACKAGE/BENEFITS
Stores Operative / Administrator
• £26,000 – £28,080 per year
• Start ASAP
• Initial 12 weeks with a view to go on longer
THE CANDIDATE
Stores Operative / Administrator
• Knowledge of storekeeping practices & procedures.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or productionenvironment
• Knowledge of “Aventa” stock control software would be a distinct advantage.
• Safe Handling Techniques.
• Ability to understand oral & written instruction.
THE ROLE
Stores Operative / Administrator
• This is an administration role based within an engineering environment.
• Key responsibilities of the role are general goods receiving administration, checking of incoming consignments & castings. Ensuring all goods received are booked into stock
• Stock counting (Perpetual Inventory) & the issuing of castings/ sub components /tools requisitioned by the production teams are major functions of the job.
• Sub Contract component receiving & batch splitting were required.
• Numeracy & IT knowledge are key skills that are a major part of the role (in house training will be given).
