Salary: £26,000 per year
We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a busy, heavy engineering company located in Stafford. The role does carry a real temp to permanent job opportunity.
Shift time for the Stores Operative:
– Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm
Key duties of the Stores Operative:
– Movement of materials/stock/tools/consumables to help with goods in and goods out
– Data entry onto computer system
– Producing reports/key information from the computer system to help ensure production is running correctly.
– Work on counterbalance FLT (licence would be desirable, if not the chosen candidate can be put through an FLT course)
– Work to health & safety rules and guidelines
Person Specification for this Stores Operative role:
– Ideally, you will have worked within a stores / distribution role previously, or within an engineering workshop.
– It is not essential to hold an in date counterbalance FLT licence as the company is willing to train the chosen candidate on this, however it is desired.
– You will need to be computer literate for this position
– Be physically fit and able to work in a fast paced environment
