Storeman (Counterbalance & Reach Forklift)

Adecco have an exciting role just in today for an experienced Warehouse Operator to join our local client on a permanent basis. For this role you MUST have a Counterbalance and Reach forklift licence. This position is constant back shift working 1pm – 9pm or 2pm – 10pm.

Your role will be processing, storage and distribution of raw materials and finished goods in strict compliance with all appropriate regulatory standards.

In this role you will have many responsibilities, some will include:

* Receipt, processing, storage and issue of raw materials and finished goods using a computerised system
* Perform routine data housekeeping
* Supply of materials for production schedule in a timely manner
* Stock counting using a computerised system
* Perform routine housekeeping to maintain area as audit ready at all times
* Provide other departments with warehouse related information
* Participate in audit process as required
* Investigate, resolve and report stock discrepancies as they arise
* Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

To be considered for this role you must possess the following:

* Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment that operates strict quality
* Clean driving licence
* Counterbalance and reach forklift licences
* Excellent communication, literacy and numerical skills and computer literacy
* Working knowledge of SAP and experience of a computerised stock control system

This position is working Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours a week on a constant back shift. There is also a £12
a day back shift premium allowance.
