Sterile Services Supervisor

CSSD Supervisor – (Day Shift – £26,400 + Benefits)

My client is part of an international privately owned company and is a market leader in the reprocessing of medical devices. This company offers customised solutions to hospitals for the modernisation of their Central Sterile Supply Department. This involves supplying decontamination / sterile services to a number of private hospitals in the region. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Team Leader for their Sterile Services Unit in Radlett. (Must be prepared to work different shifts). Candidates must be able to work on a rota’d basis where required.

In the Role of Supervisor you will be able to demonstrate that you:

• appreciate that hygiene, maintenance and cleanliness are tantamount to our success
• Have a flexible no-nonsense approach with a can-do attitude and the willingness to excel
• Supervise unit hygiene, maintenance and cleanliness
• Work in line with approved and required stock levels and budgets
• Monitor production records, quality control checks and documenting results
• Have worked in either TSSU, SSD or similar and preferably hold an NVQ 3 (or have a keen interest in achieving this) or have a good level or work experience within the SSD environment

To be successful in this role, you should be a strong and experienced people manager, with a flexible approach and able to communicate at all levels with the ability to lead the team and not be a pushover.
