We’re looking to recruit a Verification Administrator to join our busy team at StepChange VA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking team with career progression.

As a Verification Administrator, you’ll act as an intermediary between the clients, creditors, and colleagues to perform administration tasks required in setting up and onward management of an IVA.

Where you’ll work:

This will be a hybrid role, working both from home and our Leeds office, with a current requirement to be in the office a minimum of 1 day per week

What you’ll be doing:

Review referrals received via transfer from the Charity and Input manual referrals, in line with documented procedures and contact clients to confirm IVA eligibility and book advice appointments
Handle calls from clients and creditors providing accurate information and support, and in line with the job role, redirect to appropriate area of VA where required
Manage a caseload of clients, collate documentation and information required, to set up and complete the IVA client file. Verify documents received and determine that the document complies fully with IVA protocol guidelines
Contact clients, creditors and courts via telephone, text, email, portal and letter to chase for information or for general queries /chases/ updates in line with the file set up process
Update systems with accurate details of client/creditor contact, and action taken to progress cases.

What you’ll bring:

Organisational skills including planning and prioritising own workload.
The ability to manage workload without close supervision
Attention to detail, specifically for data entry.
Verbal and written communication skills, including telephone skills.
Work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines
