Remuneration: £42,000 – £46,800 + 10% Bonus

The role of the Specification Sales Manager Sanitaryware & Bathroom Furniture will involve:

• Selling our clients manufactured range of bathroom furniture and sanitaryware
• 80% specification sales role dealing primarily with house builders, but also architects and interior designers
• 20% Plumbing Contractors
• Working in a “buddy” system with an Area Manager, who will be responsible for merchants, retailers, contractors, smaller developers etc
• 60% account management position, you will inherit a project bank of circa £3m (area potentially capable of £7m-£8m)
• Territory has been caretaker managed for last 12 months by Three neighbouring specification managers
• When getting specified with house builders, typically you will spend 60% of your time breaking competitors specifications and 40% winning your own new business projects
• Maintaining relationships with virtually all of the national house builders

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager Sanitaryware & Bathroom Furniture with:

• Must have specification field sales experience and understand the specification process
• Must have sold to the national house builders / developers
• Ideally some architect / interior designers specification sales experience
• Bathroom furniture / sanitaryware product knowledge is not essential
• Must have sold interior building products such as; tiles, flooring, kitchen, bedroom, bathrooms, interior finishes, sanitaryware, taps, brassware, basins, showers, Trays, Thermostats, towel rails and accessories
• Team player
• Hungry, self motivated and confident
