Hours of work 8.00am to 4.30pm Mon to Fri

Job Purpose

It is the pickers responsibility to work within the spares department ensuring that all necessary spares orders are picked, packed and dispatched to the customer within the allowed time frame with no damage or shortages. You will also be responsible for Stock control and stock movement ensuring supplies are replenished.

Due to the nature of the role, there will be heavy lifting involved. The primary role is to satisfy Spares requirements but business needs may require duties to be carried out in the Warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Maintaining and electronically recording Stock Control within the warehouse (paper back-up)
* Accurate and timely picking & packing of parts to be dispatched to customers
* Accurate and timely picking of components for production, Engineering or other departments if required
* Entering orders onto our computer system
* Facilitate movement and storage of stocks including completed machines and sub-assemblies
* Stock-taking
* Ordering supplies of packaging as required
* Routine equipment & safety checks
* Other jobs as requested by your line manager or a director

Qualifications

* Reach Truck Lisence
* Previous picking experience essential
