Sous Chef

Salary: £26,000 per year

We are looking to recruit a full-time Sous Chef for a busy Hotel near Skipton, North Yorkshire.

The charming establishment has a strong emphasis on offering a warm and welcoming environment to eat or drink.

They use local seasonal ingredients to offer simply excellent food.

Our client is offering an attractive salary package with long term career prospects. The salaries will be based on your relevant experience.

You must be able to demonstrate that you can manage high volumes.

Your role as a Sous Chef will include:

* Provide consistently excellent fresh food

* Ordering stock and managing profitability

* Financial responsibilities such as gross profits

* Organising Staff rotas

* Be a strong and committed team player

* Motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chef’s absence

The successful Sous Chef will have:

* Have at least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role

* A background in a busy gastro pub or similar

* Creative talent with fresh ingredients

* Excellent technical skill

* Ability to work under pressure

* A great personality

* Own transport is vital for this role
