Solution Architect

Solution Architect – ex-Developer – Java (ability to code/review code) – Technical Lead – VP Level

Permanent – up to £150,000 TC+ benefits *** Hybrid working (2 days Office)

Global financial services client is looking for a Solution Architect to join their team on a permanent basis. You will define and own the technology strategy and play a crucial role in designing innovative technology solutions to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.

Skills and experience required:

• Experienced Solution Architect (successful track record of designing and delivering complex technology solutions)
• Event based frameworks, Spring Boot, Apache camel, Kafka, NoSQL (PostgreS , couchbase, cassandra, Oracle NoSQL), Public cloud (aws/google/azure), Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
• Experience of OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes as well as exposure to a range of modern build tools, such as Maven, Jenkins, etc.
• Significant development experience, working within an agile environment and using modern engineering practices
• Public Cloud experience is a benefit
• Prior experience of hands-on software development (Java)
