Software Tester, Digital Marketing Agency, Kent
Our client is a full service web marketing agency based in Kent whose continued growth in the industry had opened up an opportunity for a Software Tester to join their team in Kent. The company have achieved a fantastic reputation for delivering exception digital campaigns and providing a first class service.
The Role
Logging and verifying of software defects in a defect management system, or similar issue management system
Acceptance testing and exploratory testing of products
Writing and/or maintaining software test suite and test plans in a test suite management system
Providing third line support to the software support/projects teams where required, including assisting with product configuration and troubleshooting common problems
Liaising with Project Managers and other project stakeholders to ascertain system requirements and manage work schedule priorities
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes;
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong team player
Working knowledge of Windows 7 or higher and MS Office suite
Highly computer literate with excellent knowledge of desktop/laptops, mobile and tablet handsets
Ability to work on your own initiative
Experience using browser testing tools (i.e. Firebug, Fiddler, Web Development Tools, Selenium IDE)
Certified knowledge of software or software testing through University degree or similar
Knowledge of any of the following: MySQL/PHP/CSS/Javascript/JQuery
