Small Works Manager
Job Description
Being part of a small and and growing consultancy, this multi faceted role of Works Manager will be responsible for running, growing and developing the minor projects and maintenance department, using your Project Management, client management and electrical knowledge to manage projects up to £50,000.
Main Duties:
- Contacting new and existing clients with a view to carrying out their electrical maintenance and small works, ensuring ongoing relationships and repeat business.
- Developing systems, writing and being responsible for ongoing implementation of the Operations Manual.
- Complete All Health & Safety documentation
- Building and managing a dedicated team of electricians.
- Liaising with the Marketing department to plan and develop strategies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Project Management experience
- Able to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications
- Capability and enthusiasm to seek out new opportunities
- Be willing to research and learn current and new regulations
- Confident with Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Excellent people management
- Self motivated, reliable, confident and conscientious
- Full current driving licence
