Slingers / Plastic Injection Moulding Assistants

You will work in a small team who have the joint responsibility of setting and changing the mould tools and ensuring the quality of parts produced is maintained. The varied role will include:

• Assisting with tool changeovers
• Operating the overhead crane
• Material handling
• Fork lift truck driving
• Cleaning down the machines
• Trimming the parts after production
• Assisting the Setter
• Assembly operations
• Packing

To be considered for the role of Slinger / Plastic injection Moulding Assistant you must have:

• Experience of working shifts in a production environment
• A desire to learn
• A real team spirit with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude

Experience of working with fork lift trucks, overhead cranes or plastic product production would be useful however is not essential as full initial and ongoing training will be given. Any hands on mechanical knowledge would also be advantageous.
