An opportunity has arisen for experienced, skilled CNC Turners to join our team on day and night shifts.

We specialise in the manufacture of aerospace details based in Lancashire.

The successful candidates must be capable of operating and setting CNC Lathes using Fanuc/ Mazatrol controls.

JOB PURPOSE

Produce machined parts by setting and operating a CNC Machine, maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records and maintaining equipment. Adhering to customer specifications and within AS9100 quality standards.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for setting and operating CNC machines using company drawings and other engineering documents.
• In conjunction with production operations, ensure that good quality/conforming products are produced in line with the production schedule.
• Comply with Company Health and Safety Policy.
• Maintain machining and equipment to ensure a safe, clean and productive work area.
• Complete all required documentation, manually and online.

As an employee this person will be under the direction and supervision of the CNC Turning Supervisor.

Hours of Work

Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 08:00am to 16.30pm and Friday 08:00am to 12:00pm.
Night Shift: Monday to Thursday 18:00pm to 03:30am.

Overtime is generally available. Flexibility to cover different shifts and changes in shift patterns is required.
