Site Reliability Engineer – Didcot, Oxfordshire – CI/CD, DevOps
My client works in an interesting and unusual industry, and is looking to hire a Site Reliability Engineer to embed CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices into the business.
Working in a growing IT function you will have Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) experience and will be responsible for design, provision, and maintenance of the environments used to create products. You will work closely with the Software functions alongside the IT department.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right person; with experience in developing code but moreover in delivering CI/CD capability in a fascinating technical environment. You will be working with world-class engineers to deliver innovative technology.
Essential Skills
- Three years’ experience working in software engineering/DevOps/reliability engineering.
- Experience with AWS in a production environment.
- Experience in managing both source code and binary repositories.
- Experience with orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) for streamlining and automating internal processes.
- Use of Terraform for managing cloud services.
- Understanding of C, C++ and Java development.
- Experience in setting up and manging build environments, automated builds and the provisioning of development environments.

You will be based in Oxfordshire, with 2 days a week required onsite. The role is easily commutable from Oxford, Swindon, Reading and Aylesbury
