Job Role: Site Engineer / Junior Site Engineer
Location: Colchester
Salary: Up to £42,000depending on experience + Company car and Benefits
Start Date: ASAP

My Client is a Maintenance and Construction specialisations include the following: Embankment and cutting stabilisation, earthworks and drainage, bridges and culverts, scour and erosion protection, retaining walls and repairs to trackside structures.

Job Profile
The successful candidate will be required to carry-out the following roles / responsibilities:
* Ensure supplied materials are suitable for the intended purpose and meet the contract specification, and that quantities are reconciled to the budget allowances.
* Setting out using total station, laser levels, dumpy level and pipe lasers to establish dimensional control on site (TBM’s / profiles / batter rails).
* Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved method statements, work procedures, construction drawings and to the client’s specifications.
* Maintain daily site diary, construction records and information
* Liaise with managers at all stages of the contract works. Measure and report progress.

To apply for this role you MUST have:
Valid PTS card
Experience on track
Rail Knowledge / Background (Ground works / Drainage)
Your time will spent on site this is a mix of Days and Nights

For this role I am looking to speak to anyone from a Rail Civils background with experience of ground works / drainage is essential but my client will look at people with a range of experience.

Graduates must have experience of ground works and a Civil Engineering degree to be considered.
Minimum Qualifications; Civil Engineering Degree

Must have a full UK driving licence
