Shift Electrician

Salary: £30.2 per hour

Direct Response Services are delighted to be supporting our national client who is recruiting for a shift Electrician to join the shift team at their site in Barnstone. 

As a shift electrician, this is a crucial role within the business where you will be working shifts covering a 24/7 shift pattern supporting the production team with delivering engineering experience and assistance. 

This is an opportunity to join a disciplined team that plays a key part in the operation and the successful candidate will have the following skills and experience. you will follow the shift rota of days and nights including weekends with 8 or 12-hour shifts.

• Multi-Skilled Engineering experience with experience within mechanical maintenance 18th edition. 
• Good working knowledge of electrical isolation. 
• Electrical fault finding techniques. 
• Knowledge of motor and starters.
• Basic PLC experience. 
• of Variable speed drivers. 
• CMMS systems 
• Process control and instrumentation system knowledge (temperature, pressure, level, weighing) 
• Knowledge of the cement manufacturing process. 
• Experience of heavy industry installation and maintenance. 
• Mobile plant license (cherry picker and scissor lift)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician who wants to work with a fantastic organisation, working on an ongoing contractual basis. 80% of the work loda is mechanically based.
