Location: Remote but some flexibility to come to Birmingham
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: up to £60,000DOE
Bonus: Performance related
We are working with an independent Microsoft Partner who were established in 2018 who are going through an exciting period of growth, following several successful projects, and now are looking to expand their team with a SharePoint Online / Microsoft Teams Consultant (Remote) to join their team, based in the West Midlands.
In this role you will mainly be helping clients across the UK implementing solutions in Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and the wider Microsoft 365 Platform, alongside implementing other Microsoft Partner solutions.
Our client can also see potential in the future for the successful candidate to then move into a more senior role, leading the technical team and delivering great outcomes for their customers.
The role will be initially fully remote and therefore we would expect the candidate to be able to work independently and manage their own workload. In the future, the role may require 1 – 2 days in the office within the Birmingham area.
Skills Required
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and the wider Microsoft 365 Platform
- Excellent Communication skills are required, as the successful candidate will need to discuss requirements and propose solutions to both technical and non-technical staff
- 3+ years of experience in a technical role working with SharePoint Online and the wider Microsoft 365 Platform
- Experience of technical migrations of content into SharePoint Online from either on-premises SharePoint versions or other non-Microsoft applications
- Ability to support discussions for pre-sales negotiation and involvement in the creation of Proposals, Tenders and Project Documentation
- Ability to deliver expert user guidance and training to our Clients, in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365
- Where required provide 3rd Line Support and act as an escalation path into the relevant partner channels
- Able to work under pressure and to work independently to deliver excellent outcomes for clients
- Preferably will hold suitable Microsoft Certifications but this is not essential to the role, as our Client will support the successful candidate in completing Microsoft certifications
- Preferably have experience of the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps) but this is not essential to the role
