Salary: £19.43 per hour

Council transformation plans will require new information and technology capability to design services which are ‘digital by default’ and create a single, digital front door to our services.

ICT Services has a vital role in helping to deliver these goals; we need enthusiastic, pro-active people to join our skilled team.

The ICT Support Officer delivers a range of operational support duties under the direction of their supervisor. They have autonomy in their own area of expertise and are expected to work with limited supervision. Candidates should have demonstrable experience of working within an ICT client services environment.

Lambeth has an exciting Digital Transformation strategy to enhance the technology already used within Lambeth offices and meeting spaces. We require a keen individual to work within Support services as part of the Service Provisioning team. This role primarily will cover the setup and delivery of end user devices I.e., iPads, Android tablets, Phones, and some laptops. This role will also provide support in this area for end users and be involved in day-to-day activities and small projects. This role also covers the need to work with new starters and leavers process, have a good eye for detail and following processes thoroughly to conclusion. This is not a role to sit and await issues but to work proactively and help drive Lambeth’s use of devices and automation forward ensuring all staff experience a high-end product that will aid their work, make efficiencies of time and promoting team collaboration utilising the technology.

Requirements:

At least 2 years’ experience within a service provisioning role, supplying support for iPad and Android setup and usage.

Experience in a first or 2nd line support role in a busy support desk environment.

Proficient in one or some of these delivery tools, Maas360, Air watch, AD Manager.

Locate faults and supply resolutions i.e., Fix/replace/upgrade hardware when relevant.

Experience liaising with 3rd party vendors in reporting and escalating issues.

Experience of creating new starters and admin tasks around leavers.

Desirable:

In depth knowledge of iPad and Android MDM policies

Good knowledge of Intune technology.

£19.43 per hour PAYE / £20.17 per hour umbrella PAYE
