JOB TITLE: Service Manager

LOCATION: Gainsborough

SALARY: £Competitive + Company Car

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently recruiting for a manufacturer of bespoke automotive systems who are looking for a Service Manager. The successful candidate will be organising all service requirements for vehicles retrofitted abatement equipment where the company have service/ R&M contracts and provide technical support to end users including warranty work. Training in all retrofit technologies (CRT, SCRT, FBC will be provided to end users (including train the trainer). The successful candidate will have full responsibility for scheduling and managing the service function.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Build and manage a highly professional, well-motivated, flexible service team

Maximise profit from the efficient delivery of the service.

Support customers – develop their understanding of after treatment systems.

Identify new and modifications required to existing service literature as required making sure corporate standards are adhered to

Warranty work and repairs

Sale of spare parts (resulting from a service)

Delivery of service contracts including full R&M packages

Management of all technical bulletins and fitting manuals

THE APPLICANT

A good level of general education complemented by continued learning throughout career

Experience in engineering and servicing of Commercial Vehicles

Experience of managing service personnel

Desirable – exhaust after treatment fitment and maintenance sales and budget forecasts

Able to compile or provide input into comprehensive strategic reports

Prepared to travel to support overseas R & M contracts

Showing drive, ambition, enthusiasm and intellect
