Salary: £30,000 per year

Role:

Service Engineer

This position will be an integral part of the Service Team and therefore you must be a true team player.

Previous experience of working in a medical engineering environment is essential.

The role will be based at our offices in Worksop, but may require occasional travel to client sites, we also have offices situated in Scotland and Suffolk.

Core operating hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm however some flexibility may be required in busy periods.

Full product and manufacturing training will be given.

Responsibilities:

Servicing, Calibration and Repair of ICU Ventilators and Medical Devices

Assisting Customer Support Team with product functionality advice

Skills & Qualifications

· Be competent in servicing and repair of ICU ventilators and ideally patient monitoring systems as well as defibrillators

· Ability to provide end user technical advice to ICU technicians

· Minimum of 3 years medical servicing experience

· Hold an Engineering or clinical qualification of level 4 (HNC)

· An aptitude to follow technical instructions/manuals and maintain records with high attention to detail.

· Be able to demonstrate self-motivation, acquiring new skills and been able to put them to use within the industry

· Lone working will be required, so a willingness to self-manage is a prerequisite.

· Able to work under their own initiative making sound engineering-based decisions where required.

· Positive solution focused attitude

· Good communication skills, written, oral and IT

· Full driving licence is an advantage
