My Client a well know Water and Hygiene Treatment Specialist are looking to recruit a Senior Water Technician to oversee their Team of Mobile Technicians
To provide general water treatment service and repair works on behalf of Marsh to its client base, with extensive knowledge and experience of Water Treatment and Hygiene practices and legislation, mechanical, plumbing.
Salary & Package
- Up-to £40,000 exp dependent
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holiday
- Hours 8 – 5pm
- Overtime T -1/2 and T X2!

Role & Responsibilities
- To ensure that the water hygiene and water treatment maintenance, servicing and repair works are carried out in accordance with Marsh, current LCA standards and any relevant legislation.
- Ensuring compliance by keeping up with legislative changes and facilitating appropriate training.
- To carry out L8 Water risk assessment and deliver recommendations and quotations in accordance with L8, Marsh, current LCA standards and any relevant legislation.
- To regularly and effectively communicate with clients, suppliers and other Marsh personnel in order to maintain and develop excellent professional working relationships and ensure smooth operation of the business.
- To carry out recorded site audits to monitor LCA compliance.
- Attend to call outs / carry out planned service / remedial work visits during normal working hours and outside of normal working hours.
- Experience and confidence to implement work / projects involving:-
- Cooling towers including automated dosing equipment
- Water softeners
- Chlorine dioxide units
- Power / balanced flushing
- System dosing and analysis using photometer and other measuring equipment
- Chemical, inhibitor and biocide dosing
- Understanding and use of chemicals involved in water treatment / hygiene
- Laboratory result analysis and recommendations and quotations.
- Identifying remedial work
- Creating quotes arising from enquiries, risk assessments and remedial work etc
Qualifications
- L8 Certified
- Driving Licence
- Intermediate/Advanced PC Skills – Word, Excel, Outlook (E)
- Trained in Health and Safety (D)
