Salary: £36,000 per year
Due to business growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Utility Surveyor to join a friendly, well-established team. Alternatively, this position would suit an experienced Utility Surveyor seeking to take the next step in their career.
The successful candidate will be primarily homebased in/near the Haverhill area but will travel to conduct utility surveys at sites throughout the UK. Benefits include a company car (or van if preferred).
Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
* Producing high quality utility surveys
* Identifying utility pipes and cables for verification, validation and excavation
* Gathering data to produce mapping information of underground and overhead distribution and supply services
* Processing information
* Support the training of other members of staff
* Meeting the company’s quality objectives
About You:
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in producing Utility Surveys
* Excellent knowledge and experience of underground utility tracing and GPR
* Experience of working across a wide variety of environments and on complex surveys
* Working knowledge/understanding of PAS 128:2014 specification surveys
* Experienced in using total stations and GPS equipment to collect site information
* Ability to post process GPR data
* Experienced in using AutoCAD (or BricsCAD)
* Full, clean driving license
