Responsibilities within the role

– Manual Testing
– Requirement & Impact analysis & Effort estimate due to these
– Test Planning & Progress Reporting
– Risk Assessment
– Strong communication skills ability to be resiliant and not compromise on quality
– Ability to mentor junior members
– Review deliverables
– Implement new intiatives suggest process improvements

Requirements

– Strong Estimation and approach definition ability from requirements
– Experience testing in financial services on financial products
– Knowledge and experience of applying risk based testing
– Experience of Quality Centre
– Experience of Planning and progress reporting
– Some experience of team leading / mentoring management

Nice to have’s

– Financial Services / Retail Banking Software testing experience
– Database Testing experience – SQL
– Agile
– JIRA, FIT/FITNESSE, DBFit
