Senior Systems Engineer

Salary: £54,000 per year

My client is looking for an exceptional Principle Systems Engineer who can…

* Approve the design approach for custom engineering requests.

* Define and execute test strategies for new products to ensure high quality products are produced.

* Actively participate in the Product Development Process to ensure a systems design mindset is applied to any product design decisions.

* Project management the key development projects to ensure a timely release to market for all new products.

* Collaborate closely with the new product introduction team, to ensure all new products meet a Design for Manufacturing/Service Mindset.

* Drive change in the development process to improve efficiency within the department.

What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity is:

* Educated to BSc level or equivalent experience (MSc preferred) in a scientific discipline.

* Strong background in Mass Spectrometry within a commercial environment and clear understanding of scientific instrumentation and working with data.

* Project management experience including Agile, and more traditional approaches.

* Cross-functional team player with international mindset.
