We are actively seeking a seasoned Senior Staff Nurse to contribute to our dynamic and forward-thinking nursing environment. Duties and responsibilities:
- Display leadership prowess by leading and coordinating on a daily basis.
- Proactively troubleshoot and communicate concerns to the Ward Manager.
- Provide support to the nursing team and students.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure seamless operations.
- Demonstrate the ability to make safe discharge decisions in collaboration with our consultant team.
- Execute individualised nursing care and procedures with the utmost standards, adhering to hospital policies and procedures at all times.
- Fulfil any additional duties delegated by the Ward Manager/team leader to ensure optimal patient care and the efficient functioning of the department.
Who we’re looking for:
- NMC registered – your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of senior nursing experience.
- Ward experience is highly desirable for this position.
- Showcase excellent communication skills, organisational acumen, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to make autonomous decisions.
- Working Hours: 37.5 hrs per week with internal rotation Monday to Sunday.
