Senior Software / PLC Controls Design Engineer (FMCG)

THE ROLE:

Our client, are looking for an experienced Senior Software / PLC Controls Design Engineer to work in a prestigious Engineering organisation based in West Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES:

• To lead the design team to ensure the timely delivery of projects with maximal efficiency.

• To liaise with clients to ensure that project delivery remains on course and be a technical point of contact both internally and externally.

• You will supervise and mentor a team of highly skilled designers.

• Oversee the design of solutions to offer value and quality to the customer.

• Have some involvement in the in commissioning and post installation activities at customer’s sites.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• HNC- Degree or apprentice trained.

• Electrical design experience.

• Control Design Experience.

• Knowledge and Experience of special purpose automation, robotics or mechatronics.

THE PACKAGE:

You will be paid a basic salary of between £48,000and £65,000 / annum (depending on experience) plus outstanding benefits associated with a large organisation.
