Senior Software Engineer (React Native & Laravel) – Hybrid
Location: Exeter, Devon
Salary: £40,000-£60,000

As a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in React Native and Laravel, you will play a pivotal role in the build of a unique platform that enhances the social music experience; getting involved in the design, implementation, and maintenance of core features to create a captivating and interactive platform.
Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer:
- Frontend Development: design and implementation of captivating user interfaces using React Native and collaboration with UI/UX designers to enhance the visual appeal and user interaction.
- Backend Development: development and maintenance of backend services using Laravel as well as ensuring efficient integration with databases to optimise performance and maintain data integrity.
- Feature Development: contribution to the ideation and implementation of new social and collaborative features that elevate the overall user experience and collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative functionalities.
- Code Quality and Testing: writing clean and efficient code and conducting testing to identify bugs.
- Collaboration: working closely with other team members and external parties to translate requirements into technical solutions and active participation in code reviews.
What are we looking for from a Senior Software Engineer:
- Proven experience in a software engineering/development role with a strong focus on React Native and Laravel development.
- Solid understanding of frontend and backend development principles.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with AWS services is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Previous experience working on social or collaborative mobile applications and web development projects would be hugely advantageous.
- A relevant degree or technical qualification within a related field beneficial but not essential
