Senior Software Engineer

Salary: £45,600 – £66,000 per year

PRIMA Partners Global are currently recruiting for a global financial services group with an integrated network spanning over 30 countries and regions. 

We are currently seeking an experienced engineer ideally with blockchain experience who wants to work in an agile, dynamic environment with a talented agile team. You’ll help us to make the right decisions, taking a lean approach to get products to the market quickly enabling us to disrupt our sector!

Responsibilities

• • Responsible for the entire Software Development Life Cycle of their code including development, test, production, and subsequent fixes and improvements
  • Implement the smart contract code for the blockchain aspects of the platform
  • Ensure the scalability and reliability of the service platform
  • Collaborate with other teams to incorporate their requirements and manage dependencies. Have a big picture in mind and plan ahead
  • Design and implement systems and frameworks that are maintainable and scalable
  • Actively participate and lead design and code reviews
  • Collaborate with other team members to incorporate their innovations
  • Work with the Ops team on deployment and own team’s deployment pipelines
  • Support your team’s services in production

Experience

• • Practical experience with Solidity development and testing
  • 2+ years of experience in blockchain development
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Solid industry experience in delivering technology to high-growth environments
  • Practiced test-driven development utilizing unit testing frameworks and automated testing tools
  • Building secure, scalable, high-performing, monitored systems.

Desireable experience

• • with payment systems 
  • Containers and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful services/APIs
