I am currently looking for a bright and enthusiastic Senior Software Developer to join an expanding marketing and strategic branding agency based in Northampton. They are searching for an individual who is in it for the long term and views the role as a career rather than a job.

You will be an integral part of the growth plan and have the drive and passion to succeed. Maybe you are looking to take the next step from a Senior Developer into a Studio Lead role and help create something you can be proud of. You will also be a leader and a mentor but have the desire to roll your sleeves up and get involved in the coding.

You will need:

• To manage and lead the development team which will include front and back end programmers
• Have good technical knowledge which includes Web development/programming.
• Be good at motivating, mentoring and driving team to high performance.
• Project quote, scope, plan, managing and ensure timeliness of deliverables.
• To be a strong and influential communicator.

You will have the following skills:

• Ideally from a web development background with good front and backend experience (bias towards backend)
• Been involved in complete project life cycle web design and development projects
• Experience with database integration (SAP, Dynamics for example)
• Excellent test procedures and process skills
• Project management
• Asp.net, C#, MVC3, HTML, HTML5, Responsive design, CSS3, Java script/jQuery, AJAX, XML etc
• Open source DNN experience (Nice to have) or other open source CMS experience
• SQL Server
• Agile development
• Scrums
