We are SafeLives, the UK-wide charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse for good.

Working with organisations across the UK, we are transforming the response to domestic abuse. Together, we design and deliver support to thousands of adults and children every year, putting survivors’ voices at the heart of everything we do, whilst challenging and supporting perpetrators to change.

Working with a number of other charities, in 2015 we created The Drive Partnership as a way to change the response to high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic violence and abuse. Alongside two other organisations, we work together to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse.

We are now looking for a Senior Research Analyst to join our team in Bristol on a full-time basis for a fixed-term contract until June 2025.

The Role

As a Senior Research Analyst, you will support The Drive Partnership by taking a lead role in the design of research, data collection and analysis and delivery of results surrounding domestic abuse data.

Ensuring our data and reporting methods are rigorous and robust, you will work with the Research Manager and wider Research, Evaluation and Analysis team.

You will manage, analyse, interpret, and present data and information to the Drive Project Team and our stakeholders to optimise the quality and implementation of the Drive model.

Ensuring that the project achieves the greatest possible impact, your work will ensure it informs broader policy and practice in working with high risk and high harm perpetrators to disrupt abuse.

About You

To be considered as a Senior Research Analyst, you will need:

– Experience of analysing large quantitative data sets, including the advanced use of Excel
– Experience of implementing and maintaining case management systems across multiple sites
– Experience of leading projects
– Excellent analysis skills
– Confidence in communicating clear practice and policy implications from data and evidence and presenting them to both specialist and non-specialist audiences
– Experience of leading projects
– Experience of scoping, designing and delivering research
