Senior Quantity Surveyor– £50,000-£70,000 + Performance Bonuses– London
The Role
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor, proficient in the use of CostX? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a track record of navigating complex projects and delivering exceptional results? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
We are a bespoke quantity surveying and project management practice, looking to appoint an experienced and confident Senior Quantity Surveyor to our growing team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering exciting and complex projects and will be responsible for various aspects of project cost management and contribute significantly to our business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of project cost plans, monitoring against the budget and providing regular updates.
- Providing input during the design phase.
- Preparation of pre-tender estimates.
- Preparation of tender documentation.
- Managing the tender process.
- Conducting thorough tender analysis and preparation of tender reports.
- Finalising and collating construction contract documentation.
- Attendance at regular project meetings to monitor costs.
- Undertaking valuations as required under a building contract, including payment recommendations.
- Negotiating and management of variations.
- Preparation of final accounts.
- Administration of JCT Contracts.
- Clear and concise reporting and communication with clients, consultants and contractors.
The Company
Egan Lucocq Ltd is a bespoke Quantity Surveying and Project Management Practice that is run by two Directors – Jon Lucocq and Robert Innes. Jon is a Chartered RICS Qualified Quantity Surveyor and Robert is a Chartered RICS Qualified Project Manager. We specialise in the delivery of complex, exceptional quality residential, commercial, retail and cultural projects for our private clients. We focus on providing the professional and contracting team a collaborative, dynamic and positive approach to project delivery.
The Person
- MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience acting as a consultant Project Quantity Surveyor.
- Proficient in the use of CostX essential (Assistant QS available to undertake measurement).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confident people management skills.
- Good organisational skills and good time management.
- Working collaboratively in a team.
- Self-motivated.
- Understanding of contract legislation and professional liability essential.
