Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year
Cross Resourcing are partnering with our client, a global leader in rugged embedded systems to recruit a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team based in Towcester.
My client has an active presence in a significant number of national asset platforms at sea, on land and in the air.
We are looking to speak to enthusiastic, driven and experienced candidates with proven experience in manufacturing and quality assurance.
What you’ll do
* Support in helping to identify day to day issues and correct actions and root cause of manufacturing issues
* Reporting at daily meetings using SAP to track and collate product information to identify trends and root causes
* Attend customer, supplier and internal meetings as and when required
* Produce data analysis, trends and reports when required
* Work closely with the Manufacturing Engineer, building a strong, collaborative relationship
* Maintain a clean working environment proactively promoting and supporting compliance in line with company regulations
* Manage a small team including holidays, sickness and annual reviews maintaining an enthusiastic, organised and positive attitude
What you’ll need
* Strong technical knowledge
* Proven leadership skills and the ability to lead a small team
* The ability to motivate and influence others to achieve targets
* Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution
* The ability to collate, interpret and analyse data
* Qualified to IPC-A-610 Class 3
* Proven experience managing products held in SAP Work Centres
* Familiar with AS9001 Aerospace standard
* Knowledge of modern quality tools such as FMEA and Lead Six Sigma
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral
