Senior Planning Engineer

I currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planning Engineer in London for one of the world’s leading contractors.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and programming of civil engineering works at tender and construction stage, and re-programming if required during construction.

Your duties will also include but not limited to:

Preparing submission documents
implementing health, safety and environmental policies
Preparing well engineered programmes to contribute to successful tender win within time and budget expectations
Assess temporary works requirements
Present programme to client / site staff
Submit monthly progress reports
Manage the planning teamTo be eligible for the role you will need to have:

Excellent understanding of various methods of planning, programming and progress monitoring
Excellent understanding of various forms of tender and contract documents
Relevant CSCS card
Ideally a civil engineering background with hands on experience on site is preferredThis is a permanent position. My client is offering the right candidate the opportunity to build a career in one of the world’s civil engineering and build contractors with a pipeline of projects.
