We are currently looking for Senior and Principal Electrical Engineers to join the newly established Reading office working on a variety of innovative and exciting projects across the UK.

Working as a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer for this well-established Building Services Design consultancy will include;

• Working a delivery focused role, liaising with the client on different projects and producing a successful portfolio for the consultancy.
• Motivating and supporting the junior staff to complete successful projects.
• A healthy work balance with a 9 days working fortnight is a core value of the consultancy.

A few of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Having the opportunity to lead overall small to medium MEP projects in a variety of exciting sectors.
• Exposure and delivery of monitoring project expenditure and reporting cost and resources requirements also.
• Engage and support junior staff in day-to-day activities and offer guidance and aid to help enhance their skills.
• Projects span over a cross section of sectors including education, science and research, healthcare, leisure, residential, commercial, defence and high-end mixed-use developments.
• Look and develop new ways of working, taking time out of innovation and research to help progress the team and the company.

You will need to be proactive, motivational, a team player who can build upon collaborative relationships amongst the team. You should also have previous consulting experience working within the building services sector. Be excellent with software including Revit, and have a real passion for the successful delivery of a variety of projects in different sectors.
