This is a fantastic opportunity for a special purpose machinery Design Engineer to take the next step and join a reputable company with a worldwide presence.

This company specialise in the design and manufacture of bespoke products associated with the wrapping industry. They are well established and have just celebrated their 50th anniversary, they have a global presence with customers in all corners of the word and have grown year on year for the last decade.

In this role you will be responsible for designing special purpose machinery, mechanisms and components. It is essential that any applicant be fully conversant with Solidworks and experience on Radan 2D would be advantageous. You will be liaising with other departments in the business to ensure a smooth transition of products as well and being responsible for drawing up and processing the bill of materials.

This role would ideally suit an experienced design engineer looking to take the next step and develop with a reputable and stable business.

The role:
*Mechanical Design (Components and Mechanisms)
*Special purpose machinery design
*Using Solidworks and Radan 2D
*Liaising with other departments and customers

The person:
*5 years plus experience in a similar role
*Solidworks expert
*Special purpose machinery experience
*Knowledge of Radan
*Commutable to Wimborne.
