Now independently operating, the client seek a future leader to join the team at exciting times, to develop and enhance the market moving activity.
The Senior Java Developer has the opportunity to work on the multiple services which power the powerful mobile and desktop shopping platforms as part of a cross-functional co-located team. Operating with a diverse range of projects and technology, including paired-programming, TDD, Continuous Integration and Deployment. As a Senior developer you will design and build up effective and high-quality code and tests for RESTful and XML webservice platforms. Collaborate with the peer group, contributing to solutions across the wider team. Ensure all software development complies with overall technical strategy and architectural principles. Work with other Development, Product, QA, Release Management and Operational teams to share knowledge, ensure quality and timely software releases.
Ideally you must have technical background, we are looking for a Java developer that is an advocate of Continuous Integration and pair-programming – this is more about mind set than experience. Any Java Development history within Web, E-Commerce or Media domains will be advantageous. But as stated ideally experience in spring Java and exposure to both, web services and TDD tools.
