Salary: £336 – £360 per day

This position, for a Senior HV Project Manager, is with one of the country’s leading contractors. They have an excellent reputation across the UK, thanks to their record of succesful project delivery.

The role is to oversee the completion of HV connections, substations and cabling projects (11kV and 33kV) across the M4 corridor, from West London, through Berkshire, Wiltshire and Hampshire.

Responsibilities:

* Manage a number of HV power distribution schemes

* Lead engineering and installation teams to successfully interpret client requirements

* Manage projects across their lifecycle

* Plan and program works

* Liaise with stakeholders, including client, sub-contractors, design team and DNO

* Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

* Ensure adherence to health & safety is a constant priority

* Act as contact point for clients, keeping them updated on project progress and responding to their queries

* Produce relevant RAMS and commissioning documentation

The person:

* Qualified in Electrical Engineering

* Experienced as a Project Manager within the HV power distribution sector, with a proven track record successfully delivering 11kV and 33kV substation or new connection schemes

* Team, sub-contractor and client management experience
