Senior HR Officer

Senior HR Officer; 12 Month Fixed Term Contract; Paying up to £32,400 per annum + Benefits; Based in Runcorn, Cheshire.

I am delighted to be supporting a specialist leading business in their field in recruiting a Senior HR Officer for a 12 month Fixed Term interim assignment. This is a superb opportunity for the successful applicant to undertake a really varied Senior HR Officer job whereby you will be looking after a specific business unit and managing the full employee lifecycle for it. The Senior HR Officer will be working within a really pacey environment supporting circa 600 staff where no one day is the same.
The business is extremely diverse and as such the Senior HR Officer will gain great exposure to generalist HR aspects.

Our client is looking for an experienced and consultative HR Professional who has managed the full employee lifecycle including leading on employee relations cases and who has had previous exposure and experience in managing a restructure in respect to consultation meetings.

In performing this Generalist role your core duties and responsibilities will include (but will by no means be limited to):

* Attending meetings with Business Unit Directors and Managers to discuss HR issues affecting their employee group.
* Monitoring and reporting on KPI’s applicable to the different business units.
* Managing all HR issues for the specific Business Unit including recruitment, employee relations cases and all supporting HR administration.

Having worked within a retail or manufacturing business previously would be beneficial to your application as would being CIPD qualified, however, this is not essential

Our client is essentially looking to employ a self-sufficient, proactive and commercially astute HR professional who has had experience of working as a Business Partner.
