Senior HR Business Partner – Head Office Functions and Shared Service Centre

Location: Central London

Salary: £90,000 – £108,000+ benefits

Our market leading global Client recognises that exceptional talent is critical to their success. We are searching for a Senior HRBP to directly partner with their senior leadership teams at their Head Office. You will report directly to the SVP, Human Resources and be a key member of the HR leadership team. In this role you will be instrumental in leading and executing the people strategy for their group functions. You will build, develop and retain a world-class human resources team. This role will also provide data-driven insights and recommendations on innovative strategies to attract and retain talent at all levels in a challenging and ever-changing talent market. As a cultural ambassador and key leader, you will also embody and represent their leadership model

The role:

* Engage in strategic workforce planning to ensure the organisational design, capabilities, processes and systems best support the significant programme of growth in the organisation.

* Partners closely with leadership to provide coaching, consulting, and mentoring to drive organizational effectiveness.

* Evaluates and upgrades (as needed) the talent requirements and changing business needs to proactively manage “future state” talent development to deliver against business objectives and growth.

* Articulates the staffing, employee retention, employee relations and other needs of the business unit and develops solutions that meet those needs.

* Develops long-term strategic plans to support the business unit’s overall goals, objectives and key initiatives

* Assists senior leadership in translating strategy into HR requirements and programs

* Builds effective partnerships with broader Human Resources for other functions and operations, Legal and other corporate service groups to ensure alignment and quality of HR services delivered. Articulates business unit strategies, needs, capabilities and directions

* Participates in company-wide programs as an active member of Corporate Human Resources senior staff

* Builds strong relationships with Finance and other business unit service groups to align programs with business unit strategies and directions

* Designs, implements, supports and administers Corporate Human Resources programs and policies including salary administration, benefits, D&I within the business unit.

The Person:

* Degree educated, or equivalent

* Outstanding leadership skills in the context of HR: ability gained within an FMCG, Hospitality or Retail organisation, an impressive career trajectory. We are seeking the very best talent in the industry for this role.

* Demonstrated experience influencing successful outcomes across a matrix

* Demonstrated experience with integration activities within HR and across business lines

* Experience with cost initiatives including continuous improvement journey

* Demonstrated experience in the areas of employee relations and employee relations

* Proven success in leading and executing employee engagement programs, to improve employee work experience and retention

* Strong executive presence and ability to present insights and data in a compelling way. Excellent communication, both written and verbal

* Ability to use business data to drive change, participate and drive strategic discussions, influence outcomes, and lead changes in behaviours to drive business growth

* Must possess the ability to build relationships with functional leaders across the organisation and more broadly throughout group

* Strong communication skills: oral, written, presentation, and influencing, plus the ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation

* Results-oriented professional who can make a difference; an individual who takes initiative, makes things happen, accepts accountability, has a “can do” attitude, and a sense of urgency

* Creative and flexible in attitude and style to adapt to new situations in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment

* Strong value system, unquestioned integrity, and strong listening skills

* Must have Intellectual agility, strong business acumen, with leadership authenticity

* Proven ability to serve as a credible business partner, representing the business as well as the function
