Job Description
- Senior HR Advisor NHS Trust
- Temporary for 3 months
- Band 6, £23ph + £3.58 holiday pay = £26.58 hourly pay rate
- 2-3 days on-site, must be flexible
- ASAP start approx. 1-2 weeks from successful application
- Full NHS vetting before the start date

Description
The Senior HR Advisor will provide a professional customer-focused HR Advisory service on a range of complex staffing and change management issues using coaching techniques and solution focused advice that supports the business.
Deliver a comprehensive, professional and high quality HR support to their nominated directorates/corporate areas.
- Provide advice and support on complex employee relations cases
- Use coaching leadership style to build relationships and influence managers
- Interpret employment policies and to work with managers, supporting them on how to apply the policies
- Advise managers in all aspects of employee relations including bullying and harassment, conduct, Performance Management, grievance, disciplinary and sickness absence
- Provide advice and support to line managers in the preparation of complex Investigative/summary reports for internal hearings and other complex correspondence
- Act as an advisor to the Chair of formal hearings
- Provide strategic advice to managers on the management and reduction of sickness absence and to contribute to greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Support the HR team in the development and revision of employment policies
Profile
Senior HR Advisor NHS Trust:
- Previous role as a HR Advisor in the NHS/ Public sector/ complex organisation/ Union recognised
- Level 7 CIPD or working towards
- Managed and lead on ER cases from start to end
- Current knowledge of employment legislation, case law and good HR practice
- Previously supported change management within a large complex environment
- Able to interpret and apply HR knowledge to workforce management
- Experience in change leadership; creating meaning, innovation, transformation and problem solving
- Understanding of NHS workforce and policy
