Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year
We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced geo environmental engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy based near Blackburn. Suitable applicants will demonstrate a track record of managing contaminated land site investigations, interpretive report writing and land quality risk assessment reporting.
The successful applicant will be tasked with supervising graduate engineers, writing interpretive technical reports, assessing site investigation data, liaising with clients, overseeing project delivery from a technical and financial perspective and exploring potential business development opportunities.
Suitable candidates will be familiar with the use of assessment tools such as CLEA and P20. Additionally candidates should be competent with preliminary foundation design, slope stability and earthworks assessments.
We are seeking someone who have a strong academic background specifically with high class degree qualifications in the following disciplines; BSc Geology, Geoscience or Geochemistry, ideally with MSc Environmental Engineering, Contaminated Land, Engineering Geology or Geotechnical Engineering.
