Senior Field Engineer

My client is looking for a Senior Field Engineer to join their team.

You will work on assigned open tickets and work in collaboration with staff members to resolve customer affecting technical issues in a timely fashion in order to maintain maximum
customer satisfaction (second to none).

The Field Engineer installs, troubleshoots and maintains an extensive variety of
products and equipment. Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers` needs.

Windows Server 2003-2012.

Exchange Server 2003-2013 (IIS & SSL Configuration)

Small Business Server 2003-2011

Active Directory/Group Policy.

Server Virtualisation (HyperV)

Windows Desktop O/S

Office products

BYOD Configuration

Email Integration(BES/BIS, Active Sync, etc)

Server Roles (DFS, IIS, RDS)

Remote access configuration and troubleshooting(VPN, RDP, Direct Access)

TCP/IP, NAT, PAT, Routing, WI-FI,

Configuring, monitoring and restoring from backup

Onsite skills:

Installation of IT equipment and software

Installing new equipment (servers, workstations, routers, switches etc)

Repairing IT faults (OS repair, hardware replacement)

Carry out project work / IT Upgrades of customers systems

Migrating / upgrading SBS servers to new hardware
diagnostics on both servers and desktop/laptops.

Good Customer Service Skills.
Ability to speak to customers with a customer service focused goal.

Strong logical diagnostic ability
Be able to deal with 3rd party`s.
