Senior Engineer – Civils – Structures

We are working with a major civil engineering contractor who is enjoying growth and contract wins. This is an opportunity to join an established company working on large scale projects.

The large scale scheme requires an Site Engineer with extensive experience of infrastructure and bridges.

The main duties will include:

• Setting out of concrete reinforced bridge components, RC works, foundations, decks.

• Read rebar drawings

• Checking on work progress

• Ensure technical problems are overcome

• QA, filling in pre-pour check sheets/requesting pre-pour inspections to client.

• Raising TQ/RFI.

• Ensuring all information is kept up to date as per approved ITP

Experience Required:

• Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on a structures/bridge project

• Able to rebar/steel drawings

• Able to communicate well with all teams

• Good interpersonal skills

• Relevant CSCS card
