Senior Employer Engagement Consultant – Commercial Training

Location: Based in Derby, must be flexible with travel as this is a national role

Salary: �35,000 – �40,000 + Circa �8k Bonus + Car Allowance (or Company Car) + Excellent Company Benefits Package including: Expenses, Equipment, Generous Holiday, Pension + more!

KM Education Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Work Based Learning and Welfare to Work sectors. We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a leading National Training Provider, specialising in the delivery of Apprenticeships across a wide variety of sectors.

Our client is looking to appoint a Senior Employer Engagement Consultant to effectively drive the growth of commercial sales nationally, manage a team of 2 Employer Engagement staff and coordinate day to day activities in order to meet targets / KPI’s.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Identify and secure new business via the sale of commercial training courses to local and national employers across multiple sectors
Develop a growth strategy for privately paid training courses to effectively reach targets of �700k per annum, as a team
Engage with decision makers to promote our client as the Training Provider of choice
Keep up to date with competitor�s strengths and weaknesses, evaluating the market and scoping out new opportunities
Account management � build a firm platform for long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business
Manage staff performance, provide support and address under performance
Report sales data and forecasts to Senior Management on a regular basis

Essential experience required:

Experience of working to substantial commercial sales targets
Proven experience of winning regional and national employer accounts
People and performance management skills within sales
Exceptional sales, marketing and networking skills
Sound knowledge of Government funded programmes / work based learning
Planning and organisational skills
Full, clean driving license and use of a vehicle � must be flexible with travel
