re:Work are proud to have partnered with a leading engineering design consultancy to support in their search for a Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services).

The business is highly regarded for their technical excellence and their ability to deliver environmentally conscious multi-disciplinary multi-million-pound projects across a diverse array of sectors and project types. As a Senior Electrical Engineer within the Kent office, you will be responsible for delivering electrical and multi-disciplinary building services projects from design through to construction for medium to large scale, complex schemes across the Commercial, Residential, Mixed Use, Hotels, Hospitality and Heritage sectors.

Responsibilities

* Project coordination and liaison with internal and external design teams

* Manage electrical designs throughout all design stages

* Produce engineering concept design through to detailed design

* Ensure all design projects and reports are technically compliant and to a consistently high standard

* Supervise, coach, and develop junior staff members to optimise their potential.

* Work collaboratively and cooperatively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

* Implement and manage QA systems and procedures on all projects.

* Implement Company Health & Safety ensuring designs respond to CDM regulations.

Requirements:

* A recognised electrical or building service engineering qualification to degree level

* Good knowledge and use of appropriate software including Amtech, Etap, Dialux, Relux etc.

* Familiarity with RIBA design stages, from Stage 1 through to tender design

* Strong technical understanding of various electrical building services systems

* Ideally 5 years’ experience in designing and managing projects within multi-disciplinary teams
