Salary – £36,000
Hours of work – 8-4.30pm (must be flexible)
Pension – up to 6% matched
The Job
A leading Food Manufacturer is currently recruiting for an Interim Senior Development Technologist in the Cheshire area. This Senior Development Technologist will work cross functionally with project managing the NPD process to deliver EPD and NPD to exceed expectation with both internal and external customers. You will liaise with customers (internal & external) to take products from concept to launch ensuring compliance to our internal QMS, customer procedures & policies and our Innovation process.
Your responsibilities
- To carry out concept development projects and support the NPD Manager
- To step in and cover the NPD Manager when needed
- To nurture strong customer relationships, visit them and present to them when needed
- To maintain the NPD documentation for both brand and non brand
- To lead and to offer support on projects
What you will bring
- Food science degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Development technologist
- A good level of technical expertise in food processes
- A working knowledge of product development cycle
- Awareness of external developments in food science
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
