Senior Credit Controller

Our client, a prestigious and well-established organisation is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Credit Controller to join its dynamic finance team. This is a key position within the organisation, responsible for managing and optimising the credit control function.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Credit Controller will include:

• Oversee the credit control function, ensuring timely and efficient collection of outstanding debts.
• Develop and implement credit control policies and procedures to minimise financial risk.
• Conduct regular credit reviews and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
• Monitor and analyse debtor balances, identifying potential issues and implementing strategies for resolution.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication regarding outstanding invoices.
• Provide guidance and support to junior members of the credit control team.
• Produce accurate and timely reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

The successful Senior Credit Controller will require the following qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience as a Senior Credit Controller or in a similar role.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
