Senior Core/Server-side Core Java Developer/Architect London – £50-70k+
Fast-growing, award-winning software company seeks a motivated and experienced Server-side Java Developer/Architect to join a talented and focused agile team.
The role involves independent and team-based work on a tablet-ready web application for data processing, analytics and reporting.
The technology stack comprises core Java on the server and HTML5/CSS3 with Google Closure on the client, with bespoke client/server application architectures/frameworks and data processing/analytics.
Many opportunities to grow within this startup-feel 12-year old company, with a fast growing blue-chip client list in the hot Business Intelligence space, based in London.
Key skills and experience:
5+ years commercial Java development, architecting and developing scalable 2+ tier and/or distributed applications
Guru level at Java core, networking, collections, algorithms, multithreading/concurrency/parallelism
Object Oriented Programming, design patterns, best practices
Full development cycle inc. support, QA & testing
Useful skills: Java, Google closure library, TDD, HTML testing frameworks, Data charting, Big Data technologies, Eclipse, WebStorm, Ant, Mercurial/Git, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cross-browser/device compatibility, usability/UX,internet/network protocols.
