Package
- Starting salary from £76,165 to £89,341
- Annual bonus: up to 20%
- Car/car allowance ( £10,093 to £11,147 )
- Employer pension contribution: 10% of basic salary

What will I be doing?
You will need to be prepared to travel across the UK, as and when required.
You will provide contractual and commercial direction to support the Construction Department with new construction projects.
You will lead in contract claim negotiations (preparation to clients and assessment / negotiation from contractors), manage audit cost control and expenditure reporting, ensure that contractual procedures under all contracts are adhered to under the relevant contract structures as well as identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities within construction projects including impacts on the overall business.
Key Responsibilities
- To manage and a team of Construction Project Managers
- Preparation of construction contracts, NEC, MF/1, IChemE, FIDIC.
- To provide contractual and commercial direction and support to the Construction Department
- To provide and manage required support for construction projects, proposals and pricing as required by other business departments.
- To lead in contract claim negotiations (preparation to clients and assessment / negotiation from contractors) on construction projects.
- To manage and audit cost control and expenditure reporting for construction projects.
- To ensure that contractual procedures under all contracts are adhered to under the relevant contract structures.
- To carry out regular contract compliance audits.
- The identification and management of commercial risks and opportunities within construction projects including impacts on the overall business (and, where relevant, the wider project).
