Senior C# Software Engineer

Our client is an advanced developer and manufacturer of precision equipment for global industries. We are currently seeking senior software engineers to joins an R&D team on exciting new product developments.

Responsibilities will include:

• Design and implementation using the latest software development technologies including C#.NET language and to advise on the latest technologies in areas of image processing and 3D graphics.
• To assist in the future development of image processing and 3D graphics products.
• To develop high quality software for a highly regulated environment.
• Support and guide other individuals in good practice process, design and coding techniques

Qualifications and skills sought:

• A degree in an Engineering, Mathematics or Scientific discipline (2:1 or above)
• Knowledge of how to design and implement high quality software applications
• Proven expertise in image processing
• Experience in building and deploying applications in C#.NET
• Proven use and knowledge of the latest tools and technologies in the software industry
• Experience of working in a team environment
• A willingness to travel to other UK sites as required

Also beneficial:

• Proven knowledge of coding in C++ and SQL
• A comprehensive understanding of Software Development Lifecycles
• Proven expertise in numerical methods used in developing 3D graphics
• Proven strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of iterative and incremental software delivery
